Brambly forest fruits, plums, leather and cedar notes present on the nose. A lovely soft, sweet fruited entry of ripe plums leads into a generous palate with a pleasing warmth and fine structure. Tobacco and spice, and more plums and berry fruits complete this happy experience.

Recommended Food:
Enjoy it with a whole scotch fillet ideally cooked on the bbq. Also would make a good partner for ratatouille.

Production Notes:
Parcels of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon were harvested at optimum ripeness. The grapes were fermented in stainless steel tank with frequent pump-overs and plungings to ensure good colour and tannin extraction. The blend was assembled in late 2012 and spent a further six months in oak prior to bottling.
