Our single vineyard Pinot Noir is ripened from an exceptional blend of Burgundy clones and hand selected from the Estate Falveys Road Pinot Block. Warm Fermented and Aged for 10 months in 33% new oak barriques, this earthy Pinot displays an elegant fruit balance, forest floor charcteristics, silky tannins and has a memorable length.
Foods: Duck, Lamb, even fatty fish with a sauce that matches the Pinot, such as a mushroom or red wine reduction. Roast chicken, pasta, casseroles, beef stew.
Cheeses: The trick is to not overwhelm the Pinot and try to match the flavours. Milder cheeses which are nutty, earthy, and/or mushroomy. Truffle cheeses.
