This wine was made from grapes of organic farming located in the Douro Superior, north of Portugal. This Reserve Port was aged in oak casks and their limited annual production is distributed over several agents worldwide. The interest in this type of port increased among consumers. Once the grapes come from organic farming, this Port suffered no pasteurization or refrigeration, so you can create some warehouse, being our suggestion decant it before being appreciated.
Fantastic bouquet, with aromas of ripe blackberry in cascade and red plum. A full mouth feel and engaging with very rich flavors of wild berries and juicy. Velvety soft but well structured. A wine deliciously plump and full, with good depth and a charming and intense ending.
Store and Serve Advices:
Serve between 16º and 18º C. Store the bottle upright, in a cool, dry and dark place.
The BIO Reserve Ruby is the perfect ending to any meal. There needs to be decanted and should be served in a cup not too small so you can fully appreciate its rich fruit. Goes well with strong cheeses, especially blues. It is also delicious with chocolate desserts or berries.
