The wine has a softness and lightness with creamy characteristics. There is a delicate pear aroma with an almond and biscuit nuance. The mousse is fine and very persistent, the reward of focused, dedicated viticulture and winemaking. In the mouth the wine sings across the palate showing a persistent and fresh moreish finish.
FOUR STARS Raymond Chan | Wine Orbit writes: “The bubble is fine and persistent. Fresh and steely, mouthwatering yeast and lees detail unfold in the glass. Dryish to taste and light-medium bodied, the mouthfeel is fresh and lively with subtle effervescence. Light flavours of white stonefruits and florals show with a degree of succulence and sweetness, balanced by fresh, soft, lacy acidity. The mouthfeel is poised and has vitality and unveils nutty, yeasty lees nuances. The wine flows along a fine phenolic line leading to a soft, clean, dry finish. This is an elegantly presented, subtly detailed sparkling wine with stonefruit and floral flavours and a refined texture.”
