Wine Enthusiast – Bordeaux, France – “One of the three properties owned by Marie-Laure Lurton, Tour de Bessan’s 2010 is a firm, smoky wine, dark and firm in character. It has a weight, a solid rich feel and a juicy black-currant note. The finish shows both aging potential and attractive fruitiness.”
Wine Spectator: 88 Points
Lightly mulled plum and blackberry fruit is woven with singed wood spice and black tea leaf notes, while a roasted alder wood accent takes over on the finish. Needs to mellow a bit more in the cellar, but shows good range.
