Serve this wine at room temperature. It is a great partner for red meat dishes and strong cheeses such as Parmesan Reggiano. Try it too with roast game birds such as grouse, pheasant and pigeon.

  • About this bottle: Amarone della Valpolicella is a classic Italian wine, made in the north east of Italy with grapes that have been dried before pressing to make their juice extra-concentrated. The result is very ripe and smooth red with complex and exquisite character. For this fine example winemaker Carlo Speri had harvested the grapes from a single estate in the Veneto and made the wine in a traditionally rich style
